Hello :)

Been a pretty long time since I blogged eh?
haha. pardon me for it.
I only blog when i have the 'feel' which is very much what's happening now!

Been listening to the song 'When You're Gone' by Avril Lavigne.
Those who haven't heard of this song.
It's about a song regarding 3 couples.

1) A pregnant woman was left alone when her husband left her to defend his country in war.
2) An old man who's being separated from his wife due to old age (death)
3) A young couple who's being forced to separate by the girl's parents.

Well, the similarity between them is that they are being separated from their loved ones.
They wallow in pain, sorrow and agony.
What can they do?
Nothing.
But to weep and hope for their return.

It's a meaningful song that has served as a reminder for me; to treasure the ones around me.
They won't be here forever with me, sadly.
Well, don't get me wrong.
I'm not being emotional about having that failed relationship 2 months ago.
I just hope that this post will trigger some sort of mechanism in anybody's brain to treasure their close ones. I've seen a fair share of people taking their closed ones for granted and sometimes, im just, disgusted. Disgusted seems to be an understatement but can't really think of any word for now.

Well,

To miss someone is really a terrible feeling, especially when they are gone.

went out with the maffees on friday to shop at town.
though didnt really buy much, i was quite satisfied with my buys cos there weren't any impulse buys haha!! :D

nothing seems to work

sigh. starting it was already a mistake from the start.
i can count the happy moments we had with my fingers.
no. im not exaggerating. i was never truly happy.
all these traumatizing crap throughout these 3 months make me think twice about how beautiful love can get.

YES. just back from my favourite camp of all time; SB FOC
ok to those who googled my blog using the key words "SB FOC" ,

HELLO

it has been like donkey years since i posted.
anyway, im like rooted at home now so might as well do a little jiggly post.

pictures would be inserted later kay?
im soo lazy haha.

well. to start things off,
we started the camp with lots of bonding sessions like 2 months before the actual thing took place. it was one load of fun, singing and playing games. but i always feel hungry whenever every bonding session ends ._.

afterwhich, was the preparatory camp which was a period of 2d1n. (too short as usual)
though i cant really recall what took place.
all i can remember is that only the word fun was in my mind
not once i complained of fatigue or anything haha.
oh ya. one particular event which still remains fresh HAHA
ben, zy, zz and I chanced upon a scandal on our way to the toilet
hoho. sitting by the stairs, glancing upon the stars and bathing under the moonlight

HOW ROMANTIC :D

anyway, back to my story.

on the 28th March 2008~
the story all began.

sb foc 0809 officially started.
well ........
actually im too lazy to recap what actually happened HAHA.
all i can tell you guys is that i had FUN and FUN.
hated the parting towards the end of the camp.
but well, it marked a new beginning of the maffees darlings :)

talking about the maffees darlings.
i dont feel like friends with them.
nahhhhh. not at all

i feel like they are my family HAHA.
ok well. hmm. sounds mushy but o well :P
just so fortunate to have them!!
my feelings go beyond words.
HAHA.

Looking forward to our next outing :D~

hello everybodyyyyyyyyyy.
many apologies for the slow slow slow update to my blog.

for the past few months, ive been boggled down by projects and projects and after which, came exams.

so thus no time to update !

yaya...... i know if my friends can blog while still having projects, why not me?
haha! im just plain lazyyyyyyy.

anyway. im back here cause of one reason.

been missing from this blog for quite sometime eh ?

been very busy with ccas and studies.

anyway, my tests are coming to an end momentarily.

As for Accounts today, if I manage to get an A.

did i tell you guys that my class dtrm 1b/02 is the best!
we have came quite a long way now.
say, for about 7 months?
though we might have little squabbles here and there along the way.

Last Lecture - Sad and sad that such a strict lecturer is leaving.

She was strict as a form of caring.

All right, readers.

Please bear with me as I grumble and rant.
I got to get this off my chest !

Economics and Accounts paper have finished.
They were quite all right.

But alas, for today, Tourism's paper.
Wasn't quite as all right.

It's not that I didn't study.
It's just that I didn't study enough or rather, focus thoroughly.

While studying for this paper, I was on the fence.
1 side of me was egging me to rest and slack.
The other side of me was urging me to study.

In the end, I was utterly disappointed with myself at the end of the paper.
I need to have more self-restraint in terms of behaviour and mentality.
I give in to temptations too easily.

All right, finally out. *heaves a sign of relief*

One thing I like about my personality.
The more I fall, the more I am motivated to pick myself up and climb again.

Semester Two.

Hello readers !

Been extremely busy and lazy lately.
Haven't been blogging for quite awhile.
I have the constant desire to blog but my mind's just too lazy.

Well, just a little update over some significant events which are still deeply etched in my mind!

On 2nd August 2007, my beloved class threw surprises for my birthday. Ok note, not one but two!

Firstly, while climbing up the stairs as usual after claiming the attendence sheet, they shouted my name and bewildered me.
Then came the happy birthday song. Aww. I was so touched. Thank You Class.
Obtained a happy birthday card with many nice wishings from them. :)

Followed by another surprise during Economics Tutorial.
I was chased out of the room. Ok, you might be thinking that this entire 'chasing-me-out' thing was so obvious that they were throwing a surprise. Hell no.

I was in fact oblivious as I thought it was for another motive.

Well. the surprise was that as I re-entered the classroom, the class sang another happy birthday song !!

Well. along came more presents.

A cake and a Simpsons boxer from some lingerie shop -laughs-

Don't you just love my class ?

been busy. (as usual) , haha.

and im so gonna be M18 in like 10 days time.

Suddenly, today i had many desires.

Hey wait! Don't think dirty.

Just a wish lish for my 18th birthday!

haha. though the possibility of getting them is like close to 0%.
who cares :P
im gonna write them down all the same.
imma save up and buy them.. 1 by 1

In order of utmost importance :D

-> New shoes
-> Decorations for my new room

Nice lamp for my study table
Some nice potraits to be hung on the wall
Air freshPener (like LOL) , cos i like my room to be both pleasant looking and smelling :)

-> Punching Bag (a sudden urge to punch and kick filled me today when i went to megastore courts and saw the punching bag)
-> Xbox 360 + a television ($_$)
-> PSP ($_$)

and yes. holidays are coming and so. im able to work ! and strike these items off 1 by 1 :D

ok. a little update over here ya?

went with 1/2 of o2 to catch the hairy potter movie.
oh my. he sure was hairy.
i preferred transformers though =/
this series wasn't as good as I had expected it to be.
too much talking and too little of action? magical stuffs? :(

and i realised that taiwan drama serials can be quite funny too.
HAHA.
ok i dun watch those dramas. but those who know what I am talking about.
you guys know la. ;)

so far, my class has minimal friction between each other.
and i really hope it can stay that way!

what could be better than friendly competition??
nothing. friendly competition motivates one another but yet it's friendly. doesn't hurt anyone.
compare that to backstabbing. simply disturbing. shan't talk about it anymore.

The trip which made me lose my contact lens in the beach

weeeeeet. My mum is ALMOST back to her normal usual self.
big appetite and most importantly, big SMILES :D (smile more, mum!)

Thanks to all those who expressed concern!

All right, now I shall blog about my life in my new school.

First of all, i participated in 3 camps. (I still think It's not enough.)

The first camp!

The school of business camp !!

It was the best camp I ever attended can.
The camp which I "high" the most EVER in my life :D
I had fabulous group mates who were just as enthusiastic as me LOL.

I also had fantastic camp mates who spiced up the already spiced up camp LOL.
They were just great. My group leaders were the best la can. =x
We were called Killer Rabbits AKA BITBIT

Let's talk a little about the programmes shall we ?

one of the events was the "SA Game"
where we would write our names on a piece of paper and mix it all up.
The guys would pick the gals' name and vice versa.
We could (or had) to write dedications to our Secret Admirers (the person whom we chose) on a black board. lol. this was a dam innovative idea can. I got to know 2 new friends :D

another event was the "Nightwalk".
oh man. talking about this event just makes me disappointed.
I walked the wrong way can. which led me back to my bunk LOL.
i wanted to walk longer =(
i missed out most of the nice and scary parts.
but it was very nicely planned lah. im sure everybody enjoyed it X)

ok final event was the "Disco Night"
Ha! The Climax !!!!
This disco night was really the ON one la.
Kicked off my having some people jumping over skateboards LOL.
Hey. i also jumped =x (good thing i didnt trip if not i would never blog about this at all aha)
Then, we DANCED!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok, if your definition of dancing is like shaking all around and doing some silly acts.
I can proudly say i danced LOL.
I just went berserk lah.
Doing weird stuffs and really i was super high.
It's like I "danced" till I had no more energy.
I had to lie flat on the floor due to over-laughing HAHA.
I mimic a guy whose dancing skills was omg. superbly funny.
hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa eu ton.

The second camp!!

Ha!! the second camp, was the student's union camp.
was like contemplating whether to attend it or not cause i heard rumors about it being very strict, like a boot camp LOL. But hey, I just heck cared and went ahead with the camp. I never regretted x).

My group mates werent as enthusiastic as my previous camp. Aww..
Thus, led to me being not so high HAHA.
well, i tried my best =/ Anyway, we were called CORN WAR, but supposedly, CORN WALL lol. yusi :P

ok lah. main event for this camp was the night walk also

We were set on a mission to find out who murdered a person.
To find clues and all this from the "people" lol.
omg la. this night walk is the most terrifying experience I ever had =( LOL.

Made some nice friends over in this camp. Yup that should be all for it.

The third camp!

woo! finally the 3rd camp!.
well. not really a camp.
can i just say that its like a chalet ? LOL.
campers can like purchase drinks from the stalls and vending machines :O
ha. im so not used to it lah.
so everytime i go down, im $$-less so i cant buy drinks =(
anyway, its an archery camp. I joined archery for my cca !! HAHA. *shoots*
nothing much. most of the time we were playing games. lol.

then comes the night walk again. LOL.
ok its like the 3rd night walk I had in the same month.
So im like not really that scared la.
but still scared =x
This nightwalk, the experience was a much more pleasant one :) HAHAHA.

okay that sum it all for the camps !!!!

Ok, about my current life in singapore poly.

Im doing ok lah.
still adjusting to life in poly.
very fast-paced.
I have to be independent or get owned LOL.
and being in a new environment is like so nice lah.
got so many new friends x)

my class is like NICE. =D
dont ask why. they just rock. haha.

Long time no see. haha.

Well, been helping out at dad's office doing clerical work.
It was boring but I had to do my part for the family.
I can't just be loafing around and doing nothing, right?

Good News!
My mum's on the road to recovery! *jumps for joy*
Well, sometimes she still encounter sudden mood swings if agitated.

AHHHHHHH stop aggravating her condition will you ??? - you know who. =/

Tomorrow is finally the School of Business Camp !
Been looking forward to it . hahahahah.
Hope it will make a good kick start to my life in Singapore Poly :)

Things are not showing any improvements.
My mum still have extreme mood swings.
The tendency for her to cry is just so high.
Sigh. It really hurts me to see her in this state.

Why her?
She's just changed totally.
She used to be so strong-willed and cheerful
BUT NOW, NO!!!!!!!!!

She has been a great mother to us.
Devoting her love and concern to all 3 of us siblings equally.
I confess that I did not really appreciate all that she has done for my family when she was well.

Sigh. But well, human nature just depicts that one usually take things for granted if given to him/her too easily.

Just a word of advice to everybody out there.
Please please please.. treasure what you have around you.
Be it biological or non-biological.

There is no perfectness in this world.
Even if there is, it wouldn't last forever.

a series of misfortunes seem to keep on plaguing us.
its like. why ?
my family have always been a kind family.
always helping others in need if it is within our reach.

it hurts to see my family's situation.
my bro got bitten by a dog.
that dog. inflicted upon him such a serious wound that he can't walk and has to be on crutches for goodness know how long.

my mum. seeing my bro in this state..got overly worried and was so depressed that she totally changed. from a bubbly person to a worn out and sick person. she was diagnosed with depression today.
oh man. she even told me to take care of myself upon reaching home. oh man. i was like. devastated. sad. traumatized.

please. let the both of them recover as soon as possible.
it's seriously affecting my entire family's lifestyle.
